Peter and Mary offer you a warm welcome and personal attention in a caring, comfortable and safe atmosphere at Beverley Guest House.

It is 3 minutes walk from the beach in Weston-super-Mare, in a quiet residential area near both coach and railway stations.

We try to run Beverley Guest House as responsibly and positively as we can, and are members of Considerate Hotels and the Green Tourism Business Scheme *(We are very proud of our Gold**Awarded) ***. We care for the environment in all sorts of ways including recycling, oxygenating showerheads and providing a cycle store. Also we support small businesses in other parts of the world by purchasing Fair Trade products.

Wow the weathers good
Well the summer weather has been gorgeous these last few days, and it’s a pleasure to be walking in the sunshine.

Peter and I walked along the sands to Uphill village, which is very pleasant. If you walk through the boatyard and climb the hill to the beacon site, there is a wonderful view of the very end of the Mendips (Brean Down) and the sweep of the sandy coastline.

Walking along the seafront has been a challenge during the winter, as the contractors are trying to finish the Sea Defence work. This involves laying a new promenade from Marine Lake to the Sea Aquarium, with a splash wall, and new lighting. Every time we ambled along there was a different pathway to use! However it will look lovely when it is finished, and we are anticipating a July end date.

No better place for a family holiday
Weston’s beach is a sandy stretch of 11/2 miles, with the traditional donkeys and the Grand Pier. The sea does come in twice a day! Meanwhile there are delightful parks and pleasant places to sit. During the summer there is a programme of events both on the beach and in the parks. For those who are more active there is bowling and mini golf, plus walking. If you want to look rather than walk, there is a land train that runs the whole length of the prom.

Events all year round
T4 Party on the Beach in July, The only Helicopter Show in the country in July, The largest endurance Bike Race on the beach in October, And the biggest illuminated Carnival in November.
